Eugene Cottrell, Sr., 77 of
Wallins, KY passed away on
Tuesday, September 29, 2020
at the Harlan Health &
Rehabilitation Center.
Curt was born November 9,
1942 in Lee Co., VA to the
late Arthur Eugene and
Virginia Daniels Cottrell. He
along with his wife had
attended Kentenia Full Gospel
Church.
Besides his parents he is
preceded in death by his
brothers, Arthur, Jr and
Jerry Cottrell; sister, Tave
Blanton; niece, Kristie Link;
and grandson, Scott Bradley
Cottrell.
He is survived by his
loving wife Sandra
Cottrell of Wallins; 4
children, Jenny (Roy)
Gross of Wallins, Curtis
(Shannon) Cottrell, Jr of
Pensacola, FL, Arthur
Cottrell of Wallins, and
Harvey (Pam) Cottrell of
Corbin; his siblings,
Ella Wren, Don Cottrell,
David Cottrell, Rosetta
Osborne, and Earl
Cottrell; brother in
laws, Eugene Blanton and
Rick Osborne; 13
grandchildren, 19 great
grandchildren, a host of
nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends to
mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on
Thursday (Oct. 1) at the
Kentenia Full Gospel
Church in Wallins, KY.
Funeral services will
follow at 7:00 pm at the
Church with Pastor Greg
Abraham officiating.
Burial will be 12:00 pm
Friday (Oct. 2) at the
Resthaven Cemetery at
Keith, KY with Curt
Cottrell, Jr, Harvey
Cottrell, Arthur
Cottrell, Roy Gross,
DeWayne Williams, and
Chris Dagnan serving as
Pallbearers. Family and
Friends are asked to meet
Kentenia Full Gospel
Church by 11:30 to go in
procession to the
cemetery.
